If I seek professional help for my child, am I considered a bad mom?
"I am 25 and I’m having trouble with my 7 year old. Mainly her behavior and listening. She is a good child everywhere but at home. I don’t have anyone to get advice from. I have a mother who I should be able to turn to for help but she don’t help me, she just puts me down. So today I met with a therapist to get help since I don’t have anyone else. I felt that it’s a good thing because i’ll learn how to parent her better and I’ll know what to do in rough situations. I’ve tried time outs, grounding, removing her toys and she don’t care that I do those things. She don’t care that I just took away her favorite toy. Parents: what is your option on children under a certain age Banned from Restaurants?
"Many businesses are adding a new policy a ”No Children Allowed” due to complaints from customers about disruptive children ruining their evenings, because of their bad behavior high volume of crying basically resulting in refunds and a bad reputation from the community. unfortunately many states have passed a law were any business will not let entry of a children under a certain age into their Establishment now, how does that make you parents feel what is your option?"
Because there are so many unruly kids in society today, the restaurants have been forced to take action to protect their dining atmosphere. I have no problem with them banning children under a certain age. In fact, I appreciate it.
For parents with small children, take them to family-friendly restaurants. There are plenty of them other than McDonald’s. Try buffet restaurants, pizza places, other hamburger/hot dog joints. It’s not that they have no choice.
